Queen Daenerys Targaryen is a major character in Game of Thrones. She is played by starring cast member Emilia Clarke, recently voted the Sexiest Woman Alive:  http://www.esquire.com/entertainment/interviews/a38719/emilia-clarke-swa-2015/ Daenerys is the younger sister of Viserys Targaryen and the youngest child of King Aerys II Targaryen, who was ousted from the Iron Throne during Robert's Rebellion. Her brother Viserys often called her "Dany" for short, and she is also frequently referred to as Khaleesi. On the night Daenerys was born on Dragonstone, a vast storm raged. Apparently there is a live Game of Thrones themed scavenger hunt tonight in North Beach. DGT #12: Viserion (Games of Thrones)

Team Drankgon had quite the weekend. We saw the Jungle Book (scary), held an 18-team Spikeball tournament near the Golden Gate Bridge, donned our mythical creature onesies for a Polk Street pub crawl/karaoke, and then saw M83 at the Fox. A big thanks to everyone who came out on Saturday for the Spikeball tournament, as well as Tipsy Elves for donating such great prizes. It was an epic day, to say the least. Now back to the dragons.
