Annnddddddd back to actual dragons this week. What could be more appropriate than a dragon named DRAGON?! Shockingly, this marks Eddie Murphy's second connection to an animated dragon for anyone keeping track. DGT #8: Dragon Day at Cornell (March 25, 2016)

Posted by Master of Drankgons on

I cannot believe that I didn't know about this Cornell tradition until a little birdie tipped me off to it a few weeks ago. It's Dragon Day. And it's today! Dragon Day is an annual event that occurs every year on the Friday before spring break at Cornell University.  In a tradition that goes back more than 100 years, an enormous dragon created by first-year architecture students parades across campus. Falkor was one of the few survivors of The Nothing who almost consumed Fantasia...

Fin Fang Foom has fought with a number of superheroes like Iron Man, Fantastic Four et al. He ranks 99, in the IGN’s list of Top 100 Comic...

DGT #5: Mushu (Mulan)

Posted by Master of Drankgons on

In honor of Zootopia coming out today (a great movie btw), it only seems appropriate that I choose a Disney dragon. And I could think of no better dragon than Mushu. Admittedly, I was not familiar with most of Mushu's scenes from Mulan. So I found a greatest hits compilation. You're welcome:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDqG9h-C6p0Mushu is an anthropomorphic red dragon in Disney's 1998 animated feature film Mulan.  Eddie Murphy voiced this fast-talking dragon who tried to help Mulan walk and talk like a man (Eddie Murphy's second connection to animated dragons; more to come on that later). Mushu was once a guardian spirit of the Fa family, but he had...
